Every day young people who refuse to work at office in its traditional version have increased and choose different options that did not exist a few years ago. Today, different international programs select professionals from different sectors and take them to travel around the world, while they work by remote control on their computers. There are companies which hire them for twelve months living a full month in different countries working incessantly and others which do not have defined programs. As they are not be part of particular office, they require very few elements to work, the only thing required is their computers with a very safe Wi-Fi connection. These spaces are available at public places, bars, hostels, libraries, and hotels in big cities where any type of professional activity can be made, including more traditional areas.

This classical phenomenon of the digital era occurs in young people of Y and Z generation (up to 32 years old) who tour the world economically and taking advantage of the new digital technologies to be connected to the Internet at all the time and working remotely. Although it is seemingly a luxury for few people, there are services and networking sites for entrepreneurs around the world which promote a nomadic professional in 30 days.

The new working model operates with “freelancers” connected with any link of the value chain. Generally, they are young people who were born with a computer under their arms, use social networks with intensity and a balance between their desires to travel, relate to different people and to work is achieved. Something similar what was done in the past when taking sabbatical year to travel and not to work, but now two things are done at the same time.

In Latin America the annual growth rate of e-learning is 14%, because the current professional certificates do not specify whether they are virtual, on-site, or “mix.” It is an obvious this does not work who likes going to an office where multiple satisfaction of “neonomadism” are not present. Besides, when it is travelled permanently, incomes from different sources and planning business contacts network who work with are required. In this type of activities is very difficult to sustain personal relationships and can live in high personal security and asepsis conditions.

The digital nomad concept is well-known and each day becomes more feasible, since current companies are under pressure from the Treasury of their nations and do not want to employ permanent staff, but external professionals. This increase will continue the next few years, since modern private companies have noted that the professional “freelance” are more efficient than permanent staff, considering that they have a macrovision and exceptional creativity, higher than those do not leave the office and have permanent heads.

According to the experts in this phenomenon of digital nomadism, there are 10 important rules to the success of the “freelance online” activity.

  1. First rule is to remove all excuses to not join this activity. 2. To plan, choose dates and places like “travel diary.” 3. To cancel all unnecessary expenses to reduce the travel cost. 4. To delimit all tasks verifying in “Workana” the new projects, identify the clients and especially to generate incomes. 5. To investigate the cost of living in the different place where you are travelling. To know the cost of accommodation and daily household budget is required. 6. To buy a good computer and tools as Dropbox or Google Drive, as well as to have Laptop and Smartphone connected. 7. Do not pay attention any negative belief. 8. To learn how to choose where and when buy tickets, as well the most suitable date for travelling. 9. It is essential to have daily work schedule and to be available several hours a day. Addendum: This social phenomenon of digital nomads is developed all over the world, but obviously it is more common in those countries that have a large middle class that pretends to climb up the social ladder through its entry to the universities or technological schools of high level. But somehow is restricted the economic and cultural development of some countries as the United States, England, France, Japan , Korea, and Scandinavian countries, where young people of the generation Z are fully convinced that the universities cannot teach them as much as working by travelling all around the world. It seem that digital wanderers lead a change of epoch for the most advanced societies.
